# VIN-Info

> VIN-Info (vin-info.com) is a vehicle history report service based on VIN lookup. It helps buyers check a used vehicle before purchase by comparing the seller's claims with records available in the databases the service works with. The scope of data for a VIN is shown free of charge before purchase, and each report is bought once, for one VIN — VIN-Info has no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

Key facts:

- Free check: entering a VIN decodes the vehicle (make, model, year, fuel type, body type, country of origin) and lists which report sections have data for that VIN. No account and no payment details are needed for this step.
- Registration plate: on the language versions that offer the plate field (for example /en/, /pl/, /fr/), vehicles registered in 20 countries can also be checked by plate — Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
- Price: a report costs from €13.99 on the euro language versions; on the English version from £13.99 (United Kingdom and the default), €13.99 (euro-area countries) or $20.99 (most countries outside Europe), depending on the visitor's country; from $20.99 on the Russian version, 49.90 zł on the Polish, 68.99 lei on the Romanian and 6,000 Ft on the Hungarian version; on the Spanish version €13.99, or $20.99 in Latin America. The exact price depends on how much data was found for the VIN and is shown before payment.
- Delivery: ordering takes no longer than 5 minutes; the report is available online right after payment, with a notification by e-mail, and stays in the user's account for at least 30 days.
- Payment: through the payment services shown on the site (such as PayPal or PayU), by card or another method indicated there. A VAT invoice can be ordered from the user's account. The final price is shown before payment.
- Imported vehicles can be checked as well; coverage differs by market, which is why the free preview shows the available scope first.
